Our little foster son went to his adoptive family today. He went to live with an aunt and uncle who love him very much and are excited to have him come live with them. We have had him 400 days today. 13 months is a long time in a 4 year old's life. He was very bonded to us and we loved him like our own.
Please pray for his little heart during this transition. He is so little to have to have processed so much in his life already. He knows he is special. He knows God made him and loves him very much. He knows Jesus will never ever leave him!
Please pray for our family. Even though our children know we just got to keep him for a while to keep him safe--they still love him and miss him.
There is so much more I could write, but tonight I am just remembering to breathe and entrusting him to God.

I am sad for you and your family. I will pray for this transition in your family's life. I will also pray for this sweet boy as he has a new beginning with family. He has so many special memories and lots of love to take there with him that you, Neil and the kids gave him. More than that he has heard that Jesus loves him. His life was greatly blessed by the love of your family.
Are you still heading our way this week? I hope so! I am looking forward to coffee and chit chat. Our yearly get together! We would love to have the family over for dinner also. The kids are anxious to see you all. Call me when you get into town- 350-1582
Aw, Alisa, I'm sorry. I know you and Neil and the kids will miss him deeply. We'll miss seeing him around church and I know there will be an "x" shaped hole in Sunday School.
